Troutman, NC. I used an ND8, an ND2, and a polarizer, my Nikon D800 for 4 seconds at ISO 50 with 24-70MM lens at f-22.

I never saw it working.

Process involves damaging the negative: soak in warm water, then plunge in cold water to make the emulsion crack.
