Behind The Lens

Location

At my Bridgend Studio

Time

Mid day

Lighting

High key studio set up over exposing the BG by 1stop

Equipment

Canon 5d mark 2 with L series 24-105mm lens

Inspiration

I had seen various high key portraits but wanted to put my own mark on a variety of others that inspired me

Editing

Basic conversation to black and white, skin softening and a tighter crop

In my camera bag

As a wedding and portraits photographer I have to cater for every eventually, two 5d mark 2 bodies, series L lens including 2x24-105mm 70-200mm 2.8 , 16-35mm 2.8 , 50mm 1.4 , 50mm 1.8 , 100mm 2.8 macro lens , 85mm portrait Len , canon speed lights and pocket wizards , various studio lights and accessories

Feedback

You don't need a studio to get a high key image, place your subject near a brightly lit window and expose for the near side of the subjects face for a similar effect ????
