to see in all directions at the same time
oh, what a beautiful view
if you were never aware of what was around you
and it is true what you say
that I live like a hermit in my own head
but when the sun shines again
i'll pull the curtains and blinds to let the light in
.............
This feels awkward to me.
A friend and I went to the coast to do her senior portraits (which I'll be posting soon, I'm still in the process of editing!) and it turned out to be one heck of a day. It was extremely windy on the actual beach, so getting good shots was er, difficult. I had so much sand it my eyes (that does not feel very nice) that I could barely see through the viewfinder, let alone compose and take a picture of someone who could barely see me because she too had sand in her eyes :P Oh and did I mention it was really windy?
So yeah. Awkward. I remember finding it hard to breathe when facing the wind.
Oh my gosh! And my silly long hair! After that trip I just want to cut it all off. So. Many. Tangles. I left a deep conditioning treatment in my hair for about 20 minutes, then had to comb it for another 20 minutes.
And then I had gas pumped out of my car because the guy at the station messed up and put too much in. But it was all good :) I think I got 10 extra dollars worth of gas out of the whole ordeal. . .
All of this to say, please forgive me for my weird expression. It was an odd day.
Oh yeah, and I must have looked like a complete idiot running after my tripod case and yelling "come back here you rascal!!" The people walking past at the time seemed to find it amusing.
