I just got my 50mm f1.8 lens today and have been testing it out in the back yard. I'm absolutely in love with the wide aperture and fixed focal length ♥ I can just tell that this cheapo lens is going to help me improve.

This is my dog, Ace. I love him so much and part of the reason I got into photography is because I wanted to capture photos of him to keep forever because upon the passing of my last old staffy boy, I realised I had very few photos of him, and decided I wouldn't let that happen again.
