From a recent set of experimental images. The idea is to take a fairly common three dimensional object and represent it in a two dimensional space. Various image manipulation software was used to flatten the image and maintain a focussed center area while blurring the edges.

Congratulations on your feature, it would be good to know what you have done and how you did it. It is an interesting photograph. It is one dimensional which was your intention, it has echoes of leaves in a canopy and leaves on a stalk. It has an appearance reminiscent of a leaf fossil. Great result and well deserved feature

Congrats! Quite an interesting shot of an object that has been photographed 1000's of times since its invention... Excellent job capturing the faded frayed stitching and the worn leather.
