Winter can be very beautiful when you are at the right place, don't have to go to work and have time to discover and enjoy natural sculptures, even if they are already melting.
I made this photo in December 2008 on my visit to Santa Fe (N.M.) It's an old JPG shot with my first digital camera the Canon 350 D. I had just swept from analog to digital, never heard about RAW! What I still like about this photo is the contrast between the warm color of this old adobe building in the background and cold transparency of the icicle, which looks like a dropping nose to me.
