Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was captured at Wärnemunde, Rostock, Germany.

Time

It was captured in the month of August during the annual event called "Hanse Sail Rostock". Great event with ships full of tourists from all around the world.

Lighting

I prefer to get these shots mostly with light available during day time

Equipment

I use a very basic camera Canon 1000D (My very first professional camera). Lens used for this shot is 75-350 mm

Inspiration

Lighthouses are always interesting for me... These giant structures were build to last for generations withstanding the harsh treatment of the sea waves for just one thing, to serve their purpose... They also inspire and motivate me in my daily life to stay strong and face the odds no matter how hard and tough they are, without a tremble. I just wanted to share a part of the story of these lonely, soul-less giants with the world!

Editing

I used the software provided by Canon for some post-processing like white balance

In my camera bag

I will normally carry around two lenses (18-35 mm and 75-350 mm), spare battery and a spare of memory card in my bag.

Feedback

May be it is me who needs advice to better my skill as i'm not a professional photographer... I just capture things that appeals to my heart :)
