Location
This photo was taken on our way home to Hailey, Idaho, which is in Southeastern Idaho (specifically Sun Valley,Blaine County) My family and I were so enthralled with this beautiful double rainbow that we pulled off to the side of the road so I could take photos and the children and my husband could just soak it in.Time
This photo was taken in the afternoon of July of 2010, if I remember correctly.Lighting
The natural lighting was so amazing, it was just illuminating the mountain.Equipment
I had recently just upgraded to a COOLPIXP80. I was still learning how to use the camera too!Inspiration
My family and I had spent the day in Twin Falls,Idaho and were driving back home to Hailey,Idaho. It had been raining off and on (Which is kind of unusual because it doesn't rain much)and we saw this fantastic double rainbow. We pulled over to the side of the road so we could all just look and I took several pictures. I remember being so excited to get home so I could upload the pictures.Editing
I didn't do too much processing to this photo. I remember using just some basic "tweeks" like a bit of the dehaze feature, balance, and contrast. In my camera bag
I am still using my COOLPIXP80!Feedback
Sometimes it is just the right place at the right time! I also suggest keeping your camera (any camera) with you. I may have been spoiled a bit too because we lived in one of the most beautiful areas of the United States I've ever seen. Whatever you want to capture just feel moved by it. Passion, sorrow, beauty, ect. Express, Share, Live!!
