Location
The photograph was taken in Accrington,Uk on a very dull and dismal day.Time
It was taken at about 4pm uk time.Lighting
I used an off camera strobe to pop some light onto the subject.Equipment
Canon 5d iiiInspiration
I wanted to create an image for a university project covering loss. I though this image would be symbolic to suicide on the railway lines. An ever increasing problem. The teddy was not to signify a young child but to symbolise adults where once somebody's baby.Editing
I muted the tones of the image other than the subject, again to reflect the subject matter and how suicide impacts families directly while the rest of the world becomes irrelevant. In my camera bag

Yes, listen for trains behind you!!! I had a very close shave making this image and very nearly became train fodder... On a serious note, just let your imagination run with an idea.. As photographers we can be as creative as we want and really explore our inner thoughts. Photographs symbolise real life and when you create an image that pushes the viewers imagination it can really hit home and make a serious connection. Most of all enjoy getting creative and if it doesn't work first time keep exploring the possibilities of your concept until you achieve the msg you wanted to convey/
