Blue skies over the view east from Seaford Head across Cuckmere Haven at the rising chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters and the estuary of the Cuckmere River in East Sussex, England. The coastguard cottages can be seen perched on the very cliff edge. They were built in the 1830's and some way back from the cliff edge. The cliff face in front of the cottages has slowly eroded and they are now very close to the edge the pebble beach having retreated by more than 30 metres; but there is now thankfully a fund raising campaign to save them falling into the sea.
