An early morning visit to the fishing pier and restaurants adjacent to the bay, we discovered various egrets, pelicans, and gulls scrounging for food and fishing in the vacant waters. Sunday morning is a great day to explore wildlife without all the people. This Great Blue Heron was periodically fishing and moving around the area...watching and waiting.
