A test of the Laowa 10mm f2.8 Zero-D FF. The true only way to test a lens is with stars. This is a straight on MW before rising more to the southeast. With only the built in lens correction yes there are elongated stars in the upper corners and ground beach shells. Like the Rokinon 14mm f-2.8 when it came out. Night distance sharpness is great and like other mm's lenses at night. Also you can see the MW path through the stars is straight across with no Arcing. But when doing a panorama it will capture an arc up very high for that late season MW. Not a bad lens. ISO 2500, 10mm, f-2.8, 15s.. The image was really bright so edited darker. You get more time due to the wideness. will check next month at f-4. Sony A7SM3 + Laowa 10mm f2.8 Zero-D FF II C & D Dreamer. Lr + Topaz Photo AI No need to edit horizon for it was straight and level!!
