Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken when my husband and I did our cross Canada Road Trip, I was in awe of the colours of the lake and the beautiful surroundings. It was a busy time of year but I was able to find a quiet spot on the trail around the lake to contemplate the beauty of nature.

Time

We arrived in the middle of the day when the sun was high.

Lighting

The lighting was a bit harsh but I was able to dim it down a bit post processing, the reflection was pretty amazing.

Equipment

I used my Olympus DSLR, I have loved the Olympus system since I began photography and love their mirrorless cameras.

Inspiration

The beauty of the Canadian Rockies is one of the most inspiring places on earth ????

Editing

Post processing for me is just the general stuff, I use photoshop but haven’t dug deep into it yet.

In my camera bag

I usually have just one Olympus camera and about 3 lenses.

Feedback

Just keep shooting at every angle, keep moving to different spots in the area to get different perspectives and patience is a virtue (if you have the time)
