After a long time I sat out in cold nights peeping under the camera to get a glimpse of what it could see that my eyes couldn't. I finally got some decent equipment and pointed to the landmark constellation- The Orion.

The image shows his three belt stars at the top and the brilliant Rigel at the bottom. The great Orion nebula illuminates his sword.

The flame nebula can be faintly seen near the left belt star-Alnitak. There's a lot of HII nebulosity missing along with the horsehead nebula since the IR-UV filters on the cameras block most of the H-alpha signal coming from it. The weak signal is further masked away by the extreme light pullution of the city, but the beautiful starfield is still worth cherishing! ✨
