Thanks for taking this image! It is very significant to me since I saved someone from drowning a few years back in Hawaii and it brings back those memories and powerful emotions. For relevance and comparison/s look at the powerful wave splash approximately 6-8 times height of the person at the end of the beach footsteps. The powerful explosive wave surge and currents are not for the faint of heart. The woman I saved and I are best friends and Hanai family now but she explained to me that she doesn't remember her drowning because she was just walking on the beach and a wave went over the top of her and knocked her down pulled her out to sea in the cross current while she tried to evade the rip currents until she passed out unconscious. She is very lucky to be alive and I have been blessed to be their to help her. She now considers that day in her life her second birthday as she feel she was reborn. I told her to just live her best life and she is very grateful and happy. 😅
