I've seen these Sandhill Cranes eat many things when they are awaiting in the cornfield filling up to tide them over for the rest of their journey...but this fellow appears to have captured a bat. Lighting was marginal to poor as the sun had already descended beyond the horizon but I was surprised when going through my many images. I have to admit, not a stellar shot but interesting.
