I headed north in the summer of 2023 hoping to capture shots of the aurora borealis and tracked the solar storms. In July I was in WY in front of the Wind River range camping at Willow Lake and all night my camera caught different colors. Here I also caught a meteor.

It's 7 hard miles to the top of Telescope Peak. Looking south it feels like you see to the ocean.

I took my kayak across the headwaters of the Uncompahgre River, Lake Como and it&#039;s aqua glacial melt water to get this shot.

Near dusk in Arches National Park I took 6 sec exposure shots over and over again as cars passed by streaking their tail lights. Here the tail lights

Used a neutral density filter to draw out 3 sec shots during an afternoon thunderstorm.

Oneida Narrows Reservoir in Southern, Idaho, with me doing a flip and my timer set perfectly.

Buffalo Fork of the Snake River merges a short distance down river near Moran.
