The slow pace of capturing certain insects is a huge pleasure for me at times and as it is something that generally requires quiet and little movement, it also allows me to practice mindfulness by really focusing on that moment.
I spotted this little beetle as his black colour was very obvious against the green backdrop. Moving slowly along the blade of grass, I had some time to spend watching him before I captured his efforts.
