Don’t let anyone tell you, that you can sneak up on a bald eagle, you can’t, I’ve tried. I was driving along a rural road and saw him munching on some sort of road kill. I stopped and put my camera together. I jumped out of my truck, as quiet as I could. Walked towards him, about 50-75 years away, when he saw me and flew to the trees. I barely had time to snap a few photos before he flew away. Yes, I am THAT guy.
