We tried to make it to the Sonoma coast before sunset, racing down Mt St Helena and through the coastal mountains, my teens and their friends being tossed about in the back of the van. When we got there for our evening picnic, the fog was so dense and eerie and this was the scene of my daughter’s boyfriend and his little dog hunting around for cool shells with a flashlight. It’s not very clear because it is just an iPhone camera but it is such a neat scene I couldn’t resist uploading it anyway.
