The common turnstone is a nesting wader in the high latitudes of the Holarctic that, in our country, appears during migratory passages and throughout the winter, especially in certain localities on the Atlantic and Cantabrian coasts, where it exploits the small invertebrates that swarm along the beaches covered with pebbles and algae, the breakwaters, the breakwaters and the stone corrals for raising mollusks.
