We observed this young Bighorn Sheep female rapidly approaching and jumping into the river. Waiting for the movement of the herd of about 40 Bighorn Sheep ewes and lambs grazing on the steep canyon walls, they finally made their move. The matriarchal ewe gave the signal and down toward and across the river for a drink and it was spectacular!
