Behind The Lens

Location

Sometimes the best spots are the closest to home. This photo was taken across the street from my home in Southern Illinois.

Time

It’s hard to take a good photo. But at golden hour in the evening… it’s hard not to take a good photo.

Lighting

Golden hour + fall = lots of natural particulate in the air.

Equipment

This is one of my favorite shots taken on my daily run and gun setup. Sony A7Riii paired with Tamron 28-75 F2.8 G2.

Inspiration

My son is pretty photogenic.

Editing

I did some editing in Lightroom to make the photo pop.

In my camera bag

I normally have a Sony A7Riii and Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 G2 in my bag.

Feedback

No flash needed! But make sure your shutter speed is high enough to get all the dust nice and sharp.
