Many times this huge American Elk can be found on the local golf courses of Estes Park rutting and-or with their harem in tow grazing on the fine grass. Definitely a different golfing hazard than most people meet (5 feet at the shoulders ad weigh 700 to 1100 pounds). We saw people out trying to golf around these bulls and their herd. Crazy!
