If you decide to hike up the mountain towards Gem Lake, you will come across a beautiful waterfall known as Horsetail Waterfall. Unfortunately, during my visit, it didn't have enough water flow to truly live up to its majestic name. However, if you happen to hike this trail in the early spring season, you will quickly understand why it is called Horsetail Waterfall.
