Spider lilies growing outside an abandoned house in my neighbourhood. Apparently, this pretty flower is poisonous to small animals & children. (It's often planted in places like graveyards, where they don't want mice, rats & dogs [or children?] digging around.)
In Japan, it therefore symbolises death, loss, separation and abandonment. It's often used in the background of manga like "Demon Slayer."
