Trovanti - Babele de la Ulmet, Buzau county Romania

Babele de la Ulmet is the popular name given by the locals to some huge stones that can be easily spotted in this locality.

If in Lopătari commune there are Live Fires, well, in Bozioru commune we find "living stones". If some have common shapes (chair, microphone, babe, etc.), some of them seem to be from another world (alien to be exact), resembling some UFOs. Although some aspects related to the forms they take, trovans keep a part of mystery.

Stones that "eat" sand have a special place in the popular consciousness, being found in many of the legends. They claim that they bring good and growth in the house, or that when you touch them, they change your mood (this is if you have a bad pass) through the extraordinary (miraculous) power they have.
