Unlike most of his contemporaries, this one was wearing a safety helmet. I believe most think because water is a seemingly soft liquid, it's not going to harm them very much... Wrong water is as hard as concrete if you strike it wrong, and you could wake up with a nasty headache; worse still you may not wake up at all!
