Maybe the greatest thing about having an archive of pictures from these adventures is the confluence of memory and new editing. I came late to the edit process, stubbornly attempting to destroy everything in-camera, but in just the last five years have seen the explosion of technology that makes editing a more intuitive and perhaps narrative flow. The hardest part is simply harnessing it in service of the moment.
