A spectacular and colorful sunset surprised us as we traveled to the southern tip of Bonaire to observe the Milkyway Galaxy and take photos. This shot was taken at the dive site called, White Slave...an area in the history of Bonaire known to house the slaves used to excavate and transport salt to commerse (over a span of about 220 years by the Dutch West India Company). This an identical view from the past shared by those held captive.
