Location
In Ogunquit, Maine there isa 1.5 mile walkways along the ocean called Marginal Way. Walkers and joggers enjoy this well designed walkway which allows access to the beach as well.Time
It taken early afternoon after the fog had lifted.Lighting
The sun was in the perfect position to allow very little adjustments to the camera. Ten photos were taken from different angles, but this is the one I liked the best due to depth of field.Equipment
Hand held 80D Canon with a 24-105 lens.Inspiration
The views on this path are a photographer's dream. Coastal shots, flowers, a small light house, several benches placed strategically along the way. At one end of the path is Perkins Cove which is a photo opportunity too.Editing
Due to the light conditions, I used Lightroom to slightly tidy up the basic settings. In my camera bag
I use the Canon24-105, a Canon 70-200 and Canon 50mm,and tripod.Feedback
The time of day is important especially along coastal Maine where summer fog needs time to burn off. Scouting the area for the best location ahead of time. I walked the entire 1.5 mile path and shot some photos before selecting this one spot. I chose mid afternoon due to my schedule but the sun was behind me and enhanced the photo.
