My wife and I were able to go see The Wave. It is an amazing place with rock formations that are hard to believe. In order to have the privilege to make this 8-mile round-trip hike, you have to request through the BLM online that you want to make the trip, including how many people and the date you're hoping to go. Then you have to wait and hope that you were picked (only a small number of people can go to The Wave each day). We know people who have been trying for years with no luck. We were so lucky to get the days we requested on the first try. The other option to go on this hike is to meet at the office in Kanab, Utah (just 30 miles from the trailhead, where each day 20 people are chosen to take the hike out to this amazing place (and a whole lot more than 20 people show up each day).
