Earlier this year, my wife and I visited the Black Hills in and around Custer State Park. On the day we headed home, we also had planned to stop at Devil's Tower National Monument in Wyoming. The geological formation rises almost 1,300 feet above a nearby river. While at the tiny parking lot, we saw some people pointing up and talking, so I looked in the direction of their pointing, and saw two climbers on the columnar jointed formation. This photo shows the two climbers, and I've lightened the image around each of them, so they are more easily found.
