The Sierra wave in a seven shot panorama. A panorama is the only way to capture such an elongated Sierra wave (Lee Wave). This cloud formation reached from Olancha to Bridgeport ( about 170 Miles). As a bonus the cloud hung around till sunset when it turned everything blazing orange and then faded into a dull pink. It was one of the most amazing sunsets I have ever photographed.
