Location
This photo was taken at the beautiful Paraparaumu Beach in New ZealandTime
It was around middle to late morning on a warm winters day in JulyLighting
It was a beautiful cloudy day and the light was beautiful, it had been raining earlier in the day and we had a nice break in the weather so we headed to the beachEquipment
Just my canon 6d and 85mm sigma lensInspiration
I loved collecting shells as a kid and when my friends daughter 6 yr old Emily scooped up the shells as she was collecting them I knew I had to capture that from a different perspective I really wanted to focus on her hands and shells and get the details I didn’t want too much distraction from the story I was trying to tellEditing
Yes I edited in lightroom, I used preset I have saved and adjusted the saturation and vibrance and lowered these and a few other things to give it the vibe I wantedIn my camera bag
My 85 mm Is my go to but I also make sure I’ve got my 50mm and 35mm I love these lenses especially for portraitsFeedback
