There were a variety of butterflies skipping from one flower to the next in a hidden meadow of Forest Park. We don't see these Black Swallowtail butterflies much in Colorado but their relative, the Yellow Swallowtail is frequently observed. Unfortunately, they are not that easy to sneak up on and....well, you know the rest of the story.
