There it was, on my driveway. It reacted to my steps but was calm. I took out my phone, crouched down as close as I could without disturbing the snake, a viper, a male.
You can see that it is a male by the fact that it is black and grey. The females are brown and dark brown with the same zigzag pattern.
It was completely calm so I could get really close, as close as 20 - 30 cm.
