I took this photo in my parent backyard in Redlands Ca. I had just gotten my first non point and shot camera and was out shooting everything.Time
I had just gotten back to my mothers place after we had gone hiking and taking pictures around a place called Oak Glen in California. So it was late afternoonLighting
I am totally self taught, I really don’t think much about lighting. If I see what looks like a great shot I take it.Equipment
It was shot on a Canon EOS Rebel T7 with EF-S18-55mm f3.5-5.6 IS IIInspiration
I saw the bee working its way In to the cactus flower, So I took a whole series of shots of him as he got farther into it.Editing
Yes I decided to have fun with the color of the images or lack of color I should say. I’m not a big fan of post editing. If a shot isn’t pretty much spot on from the just the beginning I won’t keep it.In my camera bag
I normally carry two three lens. My two kit lens and my macro lens. A tri pod, lens light, extra batteries and SD cardsFeedback
Just go out and take photos. Take as many as you can. When it comes to nature you can’t control it, so sometimes you might take a lot of photos and only walk away with a few good ones and one great one, but that’s all you need. Also photography is fun so remember to have fun out there. That’s what truly matters.
