This was me many years ago when I was going through a tough time. I had some tough decisions to make, and I felt depressed and defeated. I moved back home to live with my alcoholic parents. Before the move, my car got stolen and trashed in Philadelphia, and my girlfriend had recently broken up with me. I set up my Minolta XE7 on a raised garbage can and set the timer. I was directly under a street lamp and didn't need a flash. This shot has a strong symbolic connection for me, and I was still 6 years away from making the most important decision of my life.
