This was taken at 7,000ft elevation on Mount Etna. The volcano had been erupting the day-night before, forcing Catania to shut down their airport: a rare occurrence. We weren't sure if we would even be able to visit this mighty volcano. Thankfully by the next day, we had gotten the green light. While most of the volcano was covered with fog and clouds. There were moments where it broke and we were able to see the beauty that was in the beyond.
