Behind The Lens

Location

This image was made in an Italian area of Sydney where shops were struggling to entice customers. This lady appeared to me to be having difficulty finding a way out of all the surrounding pillars and pipes.

Time

Around mid-day.

Lighting

The day was bright, allowing for just the right exposure.

Equipment

I recall the image was shot on a Panasonic VS220.

Inspiration

The feeling of panic gushing from this lone person in an un-inviting world presented me with a quick but inspiring photo.

Editing

Conversion to black and white in Lightroom plus contrast adjustment and crop.

In my camera bag

Simple point and shoot cameras - perfect, in my opinion, for candid street photography.
