The exterior facade of the US Embassy at Nine Elms on the South Bank in London, England. This high-performance façade uses laminated glazing with an outer envelope of ethylene tetrafluoroethylene. It prevents excessive solar gain and mitigates glare whilst uniformly distributing daylight throughout the building, thus reducing the energy costs otherwise required to cool and light the building.
