This photo was taken in my studio in Livingston, Scotland a few weeks ago.Time
it was taken on 18th April at 11.40am. Although the time isn't really relevant as its a studio shot and completely controlled with flash lighting.Lighting
The book she his holding was one I made at college 43 years ago when I was an apprentice book binder and the pages are completely blank. The book case in the background is actually a cloth backdrop from "Kate Backdrops".Equipment
This shot was lit with Godox AD200s, I cant remember how many right now. The camera was a Sony A7iii with a Samyang 45mm lens at f1.8, iso100, 1/100sInspiration
We were doing full body shots and I remembered I had a magnifying glass in the studio and though it would be fun to try something different.Editing
I done a little in camera raw, reduced the highlights and increased the shadows only slightly. The opened in photoshop. took out a couple of blemishes then some skin softening thanks to Portrait Pro.In my camera bag
I usually carry 2 camera bodies both Sony A7iii. The following lenses, Sony 24-70 G master, Samyang 14mm f2.8, 45mm f1.8, 85mm f1.4 and a Tamron 70-180 f2.8. I also carry 2 Godox V1's. 2 Peak design straps. Spare batteries and SD cards.Feedback
Just watch you don't get any of the lights reflecting in the magnifying glass.
