Kunkovice Windmill frozen in a sunset

A long drive to this beautiful region of the Czech Republic paid off in what is my favourite shot of this year so far.

I was unfortunate enough to forget my tripod plate but I bumped into another photographer who drove from Poland to see these fields for himself.

We discussed gear, landscape composition ideas and our general love for the art.

He saw that I was missing my tripod plate and actually lent me his entire tripod!

It was really nice to share this moment with another photographer and I think has cemented the fact that this is a hobby I wish to continue for many many years.
