This heron flew next to me as I was taking pictures of the sunset.

The clouds made the best colors for the sunset

The fisherman in Pensacola are very kind and tolerable of me photographing them. They just go about their business and I get to shoot their silhouette

I saw the pattern the water made when it washed up in the sand and knew I had to be quick and catch the shot

Equipment

This was taken with my iPhone 14 pro. No tripod, I like the challenge of getting the shot with the iPhone being handheld

Inspiration

I take many sunrise, sunset photos and I would come in as soon and the sunset. My husband would continuously tell me to stay out for blue hour, I don’t know what I’m missing… never would. When I finally did stay this I what I got. Now I stay for blue hour every time I shoot the sunset.

Editing

I did pop the color slightly. The high clouds in the sky already helped give the colors that was there

I always have my iPhone 14 pro and I also shoot with a canon R7
