So I took this photo because of the Adder's eye colour. You will see that it's a milky blue colour. This is because the adder is now getting close to shedding its skin. The colour change is a build up of fluid between the old skin layer and the new. Once the skin has been shredded then the eye colour will be a bright red-orange colour.
