Location
I took this shot at the Orlando Alligator Farm.Time
Well, we got thereat opening time at the Alligator Fram about 9;00 a.m. and we always expect toget some good photos when we go. There are lotsa alligators doing weird stuff with a couple feeding shows and there is a walkway into the woods where you can see some local birds as well as Water Moccasin snakes on the side of the walkway. on the far side of the attraction they have a rookery with a large pond, where birds come in the Spring to raise their young. Up close and personal with Snow Egrets, Great White Egrets, Wood Storks, and many others. There is early admittance to this area in the Spring.Lighting
This hansome guy was just hanging in the shade of a sunny morning.Equipment
I use a Nikon 7000 with a 300mm zoom. I want nothing to do with that beak reaching out for my very pretty hands))).Inspiration
He was there!!!Editing
Not any post processing really, the available light with the shade perfect lighting for the shot.In my camera bag
Not a whole lot. I'm in my mid 70's and the nikon and 2 lenses, a Panasonic Z270, and a Lumix ZS 25 for on top of it close ups in a sling bag. Minmum weight is my objctive)))Feedback
I think I took maybe 250-300 shots that day and only 10-15 made me happy like this one did.
