Shot this in a small office room because our main studio space had a large set piece up for the video team. One of the nice things about macro photography is generally you don’t need a lot of space..Time
This was a single day shoot. 1st Set up took about an hour and a half. Shot 6 different scenes in about 10 hoursLighting
General set up included . 5 strobes. 3 loaded with snoots 2 with 30 degree grids and barn doors.Equipment
Shot on a canon 1 DX mk3 with macro lenes from 5 to 1 24 mm, 1 to 1 180 mm and a 2 to 1 65 mmInspiration
The owners where trying to push how strong the product will hold with “just one drop” this was my response to to there request.Editing
This was captured all in frame, may have pushed the color a bit, but not much was needed. I use capture one and photoshop for 95% of all my photo editing. In my camera bag
1 DX mk3 and a R5 live with me full time, everything else will change depending on what I’m shooting..Feedback
Lenses and light act very different in macro land! Play around with it and have fun learning.. before you do this stuff for a client.
