BLACK SUN

My focus in photography has always been driven by my passion for art. From home studios, to high end galleries and concert venues all over the world my eye is always drawn to art of many forms.

The sculpture in frame is "Black sun" by the Japanese artist Isamu Noguchi. In the center of Seattles Voluntary Park directly across from the Seattle Asian Art Museum sits the eye-catching sculpture. Carved out of Brazilian granite.

Commissioned in 1968 this massive 9 foot tall abstract sculpture sits with views of the Olympic Mountain range, The Space Needle, and Elliot Bay. I would recommend any art fanatic, tourist, or photographer to look threw and at the beauty the outstanding artist Isamu Noguchi has left for millions to witness since its debut in 1969.
