The Himalayas, with their soaring peaks and snow-covered ridges, are one of the most awe-inspiring sights on the planet. As I gazed out of the airplane window, I was struck by the sheer magnitude of these mountains, which seemed to stretch on forever. The light played across the ridges and valleys, casting deep shadows and creating an otherworldly landscape that left me breathless. I couldn't help but think of the words of mountaineer George Mallory, who famously said, "Because it's there." This photograph captures the essence of that sentiment, reminding us of the unrelenting beauty and power of the natural world.
